Nexus Telemetry

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 4, 2026

1. Commitment to Privacy

Nexus Telemetry is built with a strict local-first and privacy-first commitment. We believe your hardware sensor data belongs exclusively to you. The base application operates entirely on your physical device without compiling, storing, or uploading any diagnostic parameters to external cloud storage or remote servers.

2. Data Collection and Processing

To display diagnostic readings in real-time, the app requests access to the following onboard iOS hardware sensors:

  • CoreMotion (Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer): Used to calculate and display real-time motion and device attitude angles.
  • CoreLocation (GPS & Compass): Used to display coordinates, altitude, velocity, and true headings. This data is only processed while the application is active and is never stored.
  • Barometer (Pressure): Used to calculate altitude offsets.
  • Microphone Input (Decibel Levels): Evaluates peak and average audio power levels to calculate decibel ranges. No audio recordings are ever written to disk or sent over a network. Sound signals are processed instantly in active RAM and discarded immediately.
  • System Telemetry: Evaluates overall CPU load, RAM allocation, storage levels, and thermal states locally.

3. Third-Party Libraries & Tracking

We do not embed any third-party ads, analytic trackers, or software development kits (such as Google Analytics or Firebase SDKs) in the application. There are no tracking scripts, cookies, or telemetry listeners operating behind the scenes.

4. Changes to This Policy

Any future revisions or additions to this privacy policy will be posted on this page. By continuing to use the application, you agree to these principles.

5. Contact & Support

For any questions about your data or sensor privacy, please contact our support team at [email protected].
